I’ve had 3 black dogs and each one was my favorite, along with all of the many other dogs I’ve owned. My last big black dog was a greyhound named Buddy and oh boy was he ever MY BUDDY! He was my best friend! I’m crying as I’m typing this because I miss him more than words can express! His coat was just like a shiney mink coat, he would just smile when he’d see me coming outside. I worked nights, and every morning, without fail, he met me at my driveway gate. It didn’t matter if it was pouring rain or freezing snow, he was there all jolly to see me! All Dogs Go To Heaven, so until I meet you at the pearly gates, RIP my special best Buddy… I love you

I have two black dogs right now. Stetson my black Labrador Retriever and Linus my Australian Shepherd mix. I love them both!

Every black dog I have had turned out to be a wonderful dog. Also, my shelter that I adopt from has told me that they have a hard time getting black dogs adopted.
