By the way, do you think it would work on my head?

I also cam across a dog collar that actual reduces shedding. Its called the Smart Collar and I purchased it from http://www.thesmartcollar.com. Its made a huge difference in my dogs shedding. The collar in addition to the furminator has all but eliminated my shedding problems. Thought it was worth a mention.

@Christina yep those Furminator brushes can be pricey. My mom purchased a knock off a few years back at the OC Pet Expo and she really enjoys her knock off version of the Furminator. It’s probably been about 4 or 5 years and it still works like a charm for her.

I’ve never used one. Have you ever used one of the “knock off” versions? I wonder if they work just as well for a lower cost?

I’m sure you can look around and find something comparable at a lower price. We have a Pet Expo here in Orange County where you can sometimes test the products before actually buying them. Here’s a link to last years Pet Expo if you live in the area: https://puppyintraining.com/oc-pet-expo-2010/.
