I’m not an expert, but it’s my understanding that no, your dog will not get pregnant every time the stud ejaculates in her. When we breed our dogs they are artificially inseminated three times on the optimal days to try and ensure best chance for pregnancy and even still our dogs do not always get pregnant.

Yep! I’m sure it also depends on the size of the litter. I mentioned that Raven didn’t show for her first litter of 6 right up until the very end. On the other hand her litters of 8 and 10 showed much earlier. While I want to chalk it up as being more experienced I think the larger litter sizes really did show much sooner.
