Yeah, the choking/gagging can be tough on a dog’s trachea. I really like the Easy Walk Harness, but if you have a really strong puller then I’d probably also look into the Gentle Leaders.

I am small in stature (5’2″) and am not very strong…so when our 80lb dog decides to chase something I’m always afraid of getting pulled or falling. The Easy Walk Harness makes it easier for me to walk the dogs without stress (esp. when another dog or squirrel crosses our path). Plus I hate the choking/gagging noise the dogs make with the collars. It makes me feel like I’m hurting them.
