He is very much a momma’s boy. I work from home so am with Zeus pretty much 24/7. I have severe back and knee issues so Zeus is being trained as my mobility assistant (aka service dog). He quickly picks up whatever he is asked and is already opening and closing doors and picking things up I drop. These dogs need intellectual stimulation. The training gives him that. They are BIG chewers, He goes through toys faster than you can imagine. “Super Chewer” type toys last about 10 min with him. Also know that if they aren’t with you, as in right next to you, they tend to start the husky “talking”, while he doesn’t bark he does talk- a lot anytime he isn’t next to me. My friend has his littermate and the same characteristics are very evident in her, except she does tend to bark a bit more.

Never thought him anything. He is naturally polite and very kind to people. Great friend to have around.

Your descriptions in this aticle are a perfect match . She’s very loyal, playful, energetic and can’t get enough walks and exercise. I can definitely recommend a shepsky to all dog lovers with an active lifestyle.

No, they are extremely uncomfortable and unhappy in the heat. They are very energetic and enjoy “work”, or a purpose since they are very driven dogs. When they are hot, they tend to just lay around and then become unfulfilled since they’re unable to serve a purpose.
