@Pamela I too never thought about brushing against the grain until I read our guide dog puppy training manual. This is something we start doing with our puppies the moment we pick them up from the guide dog school. I totally agree that it’s a relaxing activity and it’s a really good bonding time for you and your dog.

I’ll try that in my grooming regimen with Honey.

I find grooming is a relaxing activity for both of us and Honey really seems to enjoy the attention. It really helped that we started when she was a puppy.
