We have beloved a Great Dane, Old English Sheepdog and Shepherd. I thought no dog could be gentler than our Dane was, but we’ve met his match! We currently are blessed with a Spinone Italiano. She was a old year old return to the breeder due to a change in family status. Our Spinone is sweet, exceedingly smart, and easily trainable. She likes nothing more than being with her owners and socializes easily with both human guests and other dogs. We are not hunters, as this Italian breed was bred for, but she enjoys walks and golf cart rides to see the birds, squirrels and rabbits. It would be nice to see this gentle giant ( 125 lbs) included as a wonderful family dog, or for seniors like us!!
