He’s a big brindle boy of 8 years 7 months and is now really showing he’s an old boy. We live in Devon UK and his sire came from the USA. I had him checked over last week by the vet as I know he’s beginning to fail and wanted to make sure his wasn’t in pain (they are very good at hiding pain) The vet has confirmed that Merlin has Chronic Degenerative Radiculomyelopathy (CDRM).
It is very distressing to watch my old friend slowly going downhill. We will treasure what time we have left together, and I will know when it’s time to say goodbye.

So after a veteran check up, she has been diagnosed with bone cancer. I’m afraid it’s getting close to her time.

His name is Haas and he is 13 years old as of July 14. We feed him gentle Giants dog food daily and during the winter months he eats deer meat mixed with sweet potatoes with his dog food.
